How Can We Track the Weather?

Keeping a weather journal is a fun way to notice weather patterns. By writing or drawing what you see each day, you can become a weather detective!

Steps for Your Journal

  1. Each day, look outside and note if it’s sunny, rainy, cloudy, windy, or snowy.
  2. Draw a picture or write a few words.
  3. After a week, look for patterns. Are some days alike?
