Study Strategies

Asking and Answering Questions

Good scientists ask lots of questions! When you’re curious, write down your questions and look for answers by observing, reading, or asking adults. Try to answer your own questions by doing experiments or looking for patterns.

Examples

  • Wondering why some plants grow taller than others and testing different amounts of sunlight.

  • Asking why the sky is blue and reading a book to find out.
