This subject focuses on the quantitative reasoning and mathematical skills required for the SSAT Upper Level exam.
If you’re unsure of an answer, use logic to rule out choices that don’t make sense. Cross out the obviously wrong answers first. This increases your chance of picking the right one!
Sometimes, plugging answer choices back into the problem helps you decide. Remember, SSAT doesn’t penalize for unanswered questions, so guess only if you can eliminate at least one wrong answer.
If a math answer is negative but all choices are positive, eliminate the negative.
If one choice is much larger or smaller than the others, check if it makes sense.
