Kindergarten Science introduces young learners to the wonders of the natural world through hands-on exploration and engaging activities.
Our senses help us explore and understand the world around us! We use our eyes to see, our ears to hear, our nose to smell, our tongue to taste, and our skin to touch.
Each sense gives us special information. Our eyes tell us if something is big or small, and our ears let us know if something is loud or quiet. With our nose, we can smell yummy cookies or fresh flowers, and our tongue helps us taste sweet or sour foods. Our skin lets us know if something is soft, rough, warm, or cold.
Try closing your eyes and guessing what you are holding just by touch! Or listen carefully to the sounds around you and see how many you can name.
Senses help us stay safe, enjoy yummy foods, and learn new things every day!
Smelling a flower to find out its scent.
Tasting an apple to know if it is sweet or sour.
We use our five senses to learn about the world in many fun and important ways.
