Geometry is all about shapes and their properties. Recognizing shapes helps you see patterns and solve puzzles.

Common Shapes

• Square: Four equal sides and four right angles
• Rectangle: Opposite sides equal, four right angles
• Triangle: Three sides
• Circle: Round, no edges

Perimeter and Area

• Perimeter: The distance around a shape (\( \text{Perimeter} = \text{Sum of all sides} \))
• Area: The space inside a shape (\( \text{Area of rectangle} = \text{length} \times \text{width} \))
