Outsmart the Tricky Questions

If you don’t know an answer, don’t worry! Use elimination to cross out choices that don’t make sense, then make an educated guess from what’s left.

• Rule out wrong answers: Sometimes, just one answer fits the question.
• Look for clues: Words like “always” or “never” can help you spot incorrect choices.
• Trust your logic: Even if you’re unsure, eliminate what you can and pick from the remaining options.

There’s no penalty for wrong answers on the ISEE, so always give it your best shot!
